My new/used wheels just came in today. Damn, they were so much nicer than I was expecting. I was running some crap eagle alloys before, that were only 6 inches wide, and the 205 tires that I had on them were practically too wide for the rim. The sidwalls flexed more than the stock suspension, and grip sucked. If I spun the tires at all in first, they would keep spinning untill second. So anyways, I got some enkei racing peaks that came off this guys silvia that he imported. They are 16x7+32 and 16x8+35 with yokohama es100's, 205/55/16 and 225/50/16. and ohhh my god, after taking her for a test drive, this has been my best investment yet for my car. I havent recieved my coilovers yet, but handline is substantially better. With the old tires, I could push on the side of the car, and you could just watch as it moved back and forth, flexing the walls of the tires, with no suspension flex at all. This is impossible now. Steering response is kickass, and grip is amazingly good. I can launch at 2.5 now without a bit of wheelspin. They just hook up.
BTW, +35 offset is not too large... fitment is perfectly flush, and there is plenty of clearance. Rims are dirty and pics suck, I will post some better ones on my website later.
If you cant see the pics, I dont know whats going on. I tried to view this post at work and they didnt show up, but at home they come out fine.
