Got a set of g37 18" wheels (non-sport), the ride is more responsive and stiff which is what I was going for. Really makes the suspension stand out, and the eibachs are lacking imo.

FYI the stocks with winter tires weighed ~44 pounds, these guys weigh ~52 pounds, so you're adding un-sprung weight. Can't say I notice a difference in acceleration, but coming from thick sidewall winter tires, the car is night and day different in terms of responsiveness, much better.

And the pics:

The car looks real nice. I'd HIT!!! It's a nice and simple touch that really brings out the look of the car. Not that it needed it, but still every little helps right.

Car looks great with those wheels! But don't blame the Eibachs - the smaller rims and larger profile tires were the problem - they were holding the Eibachs hostage!

Very Nice!

What's the specifics on the rims? 18x?? and what's the offset. Looks like a +45 or +40 from the pics......

definitely looks sweet , though I would say you need to remove the vinyl pieces by the rear wheel, they are getting mighty yellow.......

Thanks for the compliments guys, I wanted something clean and almost stock looking. I really like what the wheels do for the car.

@Mehdi: I like sex.

@Ferguson: eh, I'm not sold on the Eibachs. I don't think it's their fault, it's tough to run a stiffer spring with stock struts. They don't feel smooth and natural all the time. That said, for ~$200 it was money well spent and I prefer the car now to stock, but eventually I'll go coilovers for the full effect. Just observing that before I couldn't isolate if it was the balloon tires or Eibachs that were a little off in their response. It was mostly the previous tires, but now I can tell what's what.

@ dangeris: They're 18x8's I think 40 offset, but I'm not 100% on that and can't find any info on it at the moment. Tires are 225/50/18. They're sitting pretty flush but the tire diameter is about an inch larger than stock, I'll get the appropriate size when these tires die.

@Phenom: Haven't run through a full tank with them yet, but it looks like they're about the same. Hard to say though because I've been driving pretty aggressively with the nice weather and improved handling. I'll need a good road trip to see for sure.... Carlisle??

@Viper: Ya, they really yellowed this winter, I'm hesitant to remove them, but they do look like crap. They'll be gone next detail.

@Daan: ya, I've been eyeing these wheels since last summer, before the 09 3.5 pics were out, they are pretty similar though.

And F this pollen, car is absolutely filthy already.

The tires are still not correct. On 18x8 rims, you should be running 235x45, rather than 225x50. Don't get me wrong... love the look... just sayin....

I know, these are the complete stock setup off the g37. Once these tires are shot I'll get the right size.

And LBC I saw that.... we'll see.
