Otherwise it's beautiful. How much are those wheels? what brand?

4drmadness, when you said you were getting wheels I honestly assumed you were going to be like most who just got wheels just for looks but they never did it right. By doing it right I mean weak offsets and even weaker sizes. I practically said to myself, "oh boy here come some random guy who is going to throw some crappy wheels on his G and send it to hell". To you I owe an apology for that. You have proved me wrong and you have FAR surpassed any of my expectations!
THIS is what proper wheel fitment is supposed to be like!THIS is what I love!
You are doing it right and I like the personality you have given your car. Your stance is aggressive! You camber is on point, a decent tire stretch, and the wheel sizes look like man sizes to me. This brings a tear to my eye. To be honest, I believe a moderator should sticky this thread to make an example of your sedan to show future (and current) members how it's supposed to be done.
DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING!
You are going down a path to pure, unlimited, ultimate win.
I know you're not supposed to advertise other forums n' such, but I believe you have what it takes to get your car up on the Hellaflush blog.
Go to: http://fatlace.com/hellaflush/
Join that forum and put the pictures of your car when it's done and try to get "Hellaflush Approved".
You did well my friend!
So much swagger! I can't get enough of your car right now!
If we ever cross paths, remind me to shake your hand and buy you a coke.
*20 minute standing ovation*

To me the tires and the camber are the issues. But I think we need to look at this from two different points of view. My normal point of view is that of a car for the road. In that case even a wider track could affect that view point if it affects straight line handling, others would car only about corners etc. which could be where you live and drive. The same with lowering an X since I find mine as low as it can be from a practical standpoint for the snow. If it rained only, it would most likely be lowered by now.SVTCOBRA wrote:Very nice!! I keep thinking that the tires need to be wider...that they don't fill up the wheel, but this may be a trend that OLD people like me don't know about!
I also keep wondering since it has the GT on the back how it would look with the SKYLINE lettering too....
Never use a LIGHTER to remove the G35 emblems. You end up depressed and put on a NISMO or 350GT emblem to cover up the "Scar".G_whizz wrote:IMO - I don't get the 350GT emplem...not digging it.
I beg to differ... he did say he was going to lower the car some more so when he is done, and if he stays on the path he is on now... one can only speculate as to what his wheel gap would look like... if there will be any...Sentientbydesign wrote:Now for the offsets...Vivek, what were you thinking? Hellaflush would NOT accept that. Why? Cuz it's NOT flush
I prefer 'go' over 'show' for my cars, but appreciate the 'show'!!! Fun to look at!!!pfarmer wrote:

But if you look at this from a show standpoint everything changes. Show car often have features that put them over the top in some way, in this case one of these features may be the stretched tires and camber. So I certainly wouldn't knock it for that purpose since it really has taken on a really nice look.
In my case being older I liked putting a lower profile fatter tire on the wheels, to the point of flowing over the edge of the wheel well past where good handling characteristics are lost. Would not want them for the street, but for show that is where I would go. The rest of the car however is pretty much hard to fault in its appearance.

I don't think Vivek will drop it AND leave the camber in the negative 5-7 degree range. Could be wrong, but I doubt it.infinitgkid wrote:
