Hey fellow nico users! I got some new wheels, and am so excited I had to share!
They are SSR Integral A2s. Been looking for a set since I bought my Z back in May! Finally found a set and jumped on them. They are 17x9 +45 in the rear, 17X8 +38 in the front. I have Hankook Ventus V12s all around, 255/40 in the rear, 245/40 in the front. Couldnt be happier!

Only ran into one issue, the front wheels didnt clear the Nissan lettering on the caliper just slightly, so I bought two 5mm spacers for the front off Z1. So I've got two questions for you guys:

From what I've found online most say 5mm is the max you can go on stock studs. I have 6-6.5 full turns before torqueing on the front, on the back I have 10 full turns for comparison, again, most say that its safe, but I'd rather hear it from you nico fellas!

Second, I know my hub is 66.1mm and I believe my wheels are 73.1mm, I bought some plastic hubcentric rings, but they fit like garbage, so aluminum ones are needed. Any of you guys run SSR wheels and know a good brand or have any recommendations for me? Thanks!

Next up will be an Eibach lowering kit. Probably the .8in kit with the camber kit!

as a nissan tech i would say that your kinda cutting it close with the front. i wouldnt say its dangerous but for the bit of hassle and minimal cost of longer studs, its worth it in the long run just in case. the damage if a wheel were to come off is much more then the longer stud install...but then again im a bit more finicky then most. just my $0.02

As a non-nissan tech :) I'd say you are just fine. But if you're uncomfortable, change them. You don't want to be driving tense waiting for something to happen

Like Ziggy says if it worries you, do it...or, take a look at your intended usage for guidance. If you drive it rarely and lightly when you do you will not have problems, but if you are a spirited driver and drive the car daily you are best off to go the safe route and do that little bit of extra work.

I have heard that 7 turn's is generally the accepted number for being safe, and your right there so really it's up to you.

I would say you're "okay" as long as you can get those 6-6.5 turns. If you consider tracking the car, go for some extended wheel studs or use a smaller spacer to clear the NISSAN logo.

Down the line she may see some light track use out at Thunderhill, when I get my lowering kit, I'll probably change the studs out then. Since its a daily with hard driving only every now and then, I'll keep the studs for now, I appreciate the input guys!

Also, found the correct size for my wheels are 74mm, so I'll need to find a 74mm to a 66.1mm. Not the most common size eh. Found a set on 1010tires.com, anyone ordered through them? Looks like theyre located up in Canada.

I got my hub centric rings on ebay for dirt cheap. I think it was $7 shipped!
Are you in the Bay Area? I'm planning a Thunderhill Raceway Z track day in June. Several Z32's will show.

Close, just outside of Sacramento! That would be beyond awesome! I would definitely go, and my friend with his Z32 would attend as well.

Ebay had a few, cheapest I could find for aluminum ones were $35 out of Australia, so I think I may buy them off of 1010tires since they're the cheapest I've found. I could prolly use the plastic ones, I read they tend to break, but that may not be true.

I'm on plastic, 100% fine so far, and the wheels come off and on very frequently. + they're cheap enough to buy several sets of spares if they do ever get nicked beyond use.
