240lookis, where are you at in seattle? and the car would look pretty cool with fender flares over over fenders once its dropped.

You should take them off, delete the pictures and only put them back on once you have those parts installed. Then take new pics.

i think the wheels are nice, the offset is sick .... get some s30 style fender flares, and a decent drop and it will look good... maybe some better paint but its got potential

ya, ride height sucks. it's funny though, us 240 owners call sports cars with a 2 inch drop 4x4 status.

wheels are unknown. id like to know myself.

get ready I have same wheels with some -30ish offset , get out a big *** hammer when you try to slam it you might be in better shape than I was(less - offset than mine)

once you get them tucked you will get more nice ride comments than evar

I need to get one fixed, it hit a curb

Your cars gonna look sick with some fender flares.Don't listen to these kids, the only way to impress them is if you drive something like this

240lookis wrote:So, I had a thread a while ago about how i was having trouble with my new wheels. I figured that all out by buying some mag lug nuts. In the process of putting the wheels on I realized one of the studs on my front passenger side hubs was stripped so im only running 3 lug nuts.

Wheels are 15x8 -5, with about 4 inches of lip all around.

The moment I put the wheels on my friends and i just started laughing: the fitment is ridiculous. Ill probably be getting coils in a month or so, and that will definitely help. Fitment looks about the same as when d*star put his 15x8 -10's on, so with some camber, a bigger drop and a roll/pull i know i can fit these.

pics (eww):

i can take some more pics later but that's all i have for now.
how did you pay for them

The wheels look like Eagle Alloy 028's.I like them, but I agree with OutToWin. 8" wheels don't look right in such a low offset because you are just poking a wheel that could be sunk in just as far. Gives it kind of a grasshopper look.

If it was a 9" and a 10" that would look better with the poke because you'd have more wheel filling the car underneath, if that makes sense.

^^ totally understand you. wheels are actually 15x8 -30.

they have these in 15x10 -40 which i wish i had for the rear. ill post up some new pics when my 195/50's come in on thrusday, get them mounted and finish getting these things dialed in.

you can see my sig for what my fitment currently looks like.

I like the wheels alot. You have money to go wide body?

If not, you're gonna have to get some big *** flares like these....

I would also drop and get lower profile rubber, because looks is all you can go for now that your scrub radius is all screwed up.

He will not need flares, or widebody. Those can fit on a slightly modded, yet stock, S-Chassis.

All you need to do is go lower, get some smaller tires, add camber, roll/slightly pull fenders, and they will fit. I know they will, because my 002s had the same sizing (with spacers), and I fit them no problem.

That R33 is meh.

It has a front lip but nothing to match on the sides or the rear, so it looks like it has a huge chin just sticking out.

^ I'm pretty sure it's just the angle. And besides, I think I could live with it, lol.
