new wheel TPMS question

I just bought an Altima Coupe last night. I want to get new whels for the car. As far as putting the TPMS system in the new wheels, is it a problem? Does the wheel installer just take them off from the old wheel and pt it in the new wheel? I am going from 16" to 17".

Welcome! Chalk up another Coupe owner on the forum

The TPMS system is swappable. Its a unit that sits inside the new tire's sidewall. Check with whomever is installing to make sure that they can do this for you. That would be my best recommendation.

I was told i needed to check if theres space for it when i buy wheels... I did, and it does!
