new vs rebuilt calipers

hello, it seems that for my 95 240sx the rear right calper is warped. what are the pros and cons of getting a rebuilt caliper vs.a new one??

pro's of a rebuilt caliper... well http://www.advanceautoparts.com had a lifetime warranty whenever this unit fails again. Basically used the shell & used new internals...

my driver side rear seized up on me & rebuilding the rear caliper kinda intimidated me since that parking brake mechanism looks complicated.

maybe this is just cause the advance auto HQ is based in my town, but all of our advance autos keep your purchases recorded on a database based on your phone number. i've retrieved a few lost reciepts that way.

pros: cheap

cons: more prone to break down (opinion, not fact). i've always been under the impression that a rebuilt caliper won't last as long as a brand new caliper.

i just put new calipers on the tempo this past weekend (better than rebuilding the caliper imho). they were rebuilt, but i used them mainly cause it's a car i don't intend to be keeping for much longer. the decision to use remans or not is a personal choice i think.
