LOL... great video... man I wish I could find empty roads around here!!

Since you titled your video G35 speed runs... I'll throw my $0.02 cents in ... I think you are shifting too early... roar that puppy to around 6000-6500Rpm then shift

No, I TOTALLY get that. I've taken my car to the track and didn't wind it out nearly as much. Pretty much just wanted to have a little fun but trying hard not to draw too much attention. The exhaust's sound tends to travel and the area has seen some drags so when I was filiming I was a little worried that Johnny Law would show up with some popcorn (and his ticket book).

When I got home and reviewed the vids I was more disappointed by the obvious lack of timing on up-shifts. Funny that you don't notice it when you are driving.

And luckily for me I'm close to some business parks so the traffic was light on the weekend. Actually while the camera was rolling I got as much footage of other cars driving by thinking WFT is that camera doing there? Editing is a wonderful thing.

You're lucky no one said "Ooo, a camera!" Looks like you have a pretty nice one there.

Nice though, I like.

CX Racing (found on ebay). Really reasonably price @ about $500/shipped!Full cat-back stainless at a good price and with good sound.

Don't mean to sound like a commercial.... not affiliated, just really pleased with it.

No BOV, just the NOS kicking in! I dunno what that sound is... it just does that when I'm pushing it though the upshifts. Doesn't everybody else's MT6 do this?

I agree; fav part of it.And funny, pretty much the way it went down, too. Figured it was the last run and I'd quickly wrap it up so I brought it up closer to red.[DISCLAIMER]If this weren't fully an imaginary event that never occurred, I'd also go on to tell you that the final run was up around 90.[/DISCLAIMER]
