INTRO NEW vert to NICO (PICS)

I am fairly new to Nico and thought i might post some pictures of my vert'. Its nothing special but its a good way to introduce myself. So i bought my car in a junkyard that i used to work at. I was surpised to actually see the car in a junk because of its condition.
NO body damage, motor ran almost perfect (mild timing chain rattle), Perfect top.


The car is a 1994 SE model and had 143,xxx miles on it. It sat for 2 years before it ended up in the junkyard and was a 1 owner car. I took the car for a test drive and it ran beautifully. So i talked my boss into selling it to me. I got the car for a steal. (1 Grand).
The day i drove it home it refused to shift into second gear so i drove home in first gear in the snow. I flushed the fluid and changed the filter in the transmission but nothing worked. i had the car on jack stands for a month till i could find a replacement transmission. It would have been the perfect time to do a manual swap but money and time was tight because i was moving out of state in a couple of days. I was able to find a transmission and i got it for free. i swapped it out and it solved the problem for a while. Long story short i relocated to NC and it began acting up again so i thought i would look online for a solution and i came across this cite. Since i have been searching this cite have found almost every answer to my problems in this car and has saved me money in costly repairs.

Good find and welcome to the forum. Another great site is hidplanet dot com to help you fix that glare from your hids, you must be blinding people on the road with those lights. A retrofit with HID projectors would not only fix your problem but focus all the usable light to the road ahead of you, where it is most useful. Good luck with your project and keep us posted with your progress.

HA HA yea, you wouldnt believe how many people flash there hi beams at me for blinding them. Thanks will definetly look into it.
