I just picked up a 93 convertible with 114,000 miles on the body, took the motor and trans out of my coupe and the ole' 5 speed swap i need to know if the 89 coupe HUD speedometer and the 93 cluster are the same as far as wiring, i had to take the harness out of the 89 when i swapped the motor and cannot get the speedo to work im pretty sure its hooked up. after the swap the only issues i have had are the temp gauge quit working and the speedo hasn't worked yet any ideas?

it depends on if the 93 gauge cluster is a digital or analog. If its digital then the hud will work fine and plug right in. If its analog the analog wiring harness doesnt have a plug for the hud in fact the digital and analog wiring sub harness are completely different.
You can however fab up the wiring for the hud+analog cluster someone on here did it but i would have no idea on how to do it so sorry :P

Where are you located? I just tried to pick up a vert for my wife and some a-hole swiped it from under meh :p

im located in Indiana, i went from the HUD to the analog so there is no more HUD and i like that but my speedo isn't working and didn't know if just the gereral plug was different because we switched the lower harness as well

i sits monster truck as hell but i got it cheap and the frame rails are solid as hell notice the plate one number off of 240low
