new vert....

so i grabbed a 94 vert...and all its problems, its stock as day it was made (automatic) and the most troublesome is that while im cruising around 50mph or lower everything starts dropping...the speed goes down, the revs go down, i just changed the air filter im sure the maf is stock....if i floor it obviously it downshifts and picks up speed and everything is good, but around 2100rpm it just cuts out...

make sure the trans fluid is in good shape (ie change it).
