Bought it today for $600. Has some problems with it so my first priority is to get it running! The paint on the spoiler and the hood has faded, has scratches on the hood, little dings on the driver side fender, weird black marks above the fuel door and on the trunk. The car is still in Columbus so I have to pick up next week when I can get a dolly. Has starting issues. It doesn't want to start half the time. Then it hesitates when I finally started it up. It idles fine when I started it the fifth time. I tried to put it in reverse but it dies. There's a weird clunking noise in the engine but that's most likely the guide breaking off so I will have to remove that as soon as possible.Overall its a nice car, just needs some TLC.

First is to get it running, transmission swap, decent shock/strut combo, paint, then turbo. This will help actually do something with my life and not be a fat@ss and sleep.lol.

Opelika, AL. About 30 minutes from the Georgia border.

The only rust was on the metal part when you put the top down. I don't know how to word it so I'll take pics of it when I bring it home Sunday.

Be very careful removing those! They are quite tricky and require removing some weatherstripping to get to the screw holding it on.

There is a non cracked dash on a s13 there. They have 8 240s there. also bout 10-15 vlsds from s14s to j30s and z32s. They are a little pricy tho but not too bad. I will check in a couple days for you.

I finally got the vert up and running today!! But it bogs when I push the pedal on first then it runs normal 10-20 seconds later. Anyone got a clue what is making this happen??

EDIT: Ok. After driving it some more, it just bogs all through the gears and when I push the pedal all the way, it has no power. I've searched and found many solutions but I don't know where to start.

No rush man. It's all good. I went ahead and called someone to take a look at it anyway since I'm too lazy to find out wtf is wrong with it.

Meh I couldn't get around fixing it much because of funds and stuff. I need to change the oil pan out because the one on it now has a nice dent on it and need to change the high pressure p/s hose because it has a leak it in. There's also this odd high pitch noise whenever press the gas and it keeps getting worse the further I press down. I'm regretting buying this vert but I really want it to get it on the road.

mmmmm i would totally take it off your hands but this sr swap is draining my monies hella fast. Just keep it and take your time with it. You will love it when you can drive around. People stop and talk to you on a daily basis. Its great.
