New vert owner

Well i bought this car a few weeks ago, for 3750. It has 130,000 on it. It was well taken care of for the last ten years. The owner logged everything done to it, like oil changes and tune ups. The car came with 2 bras, everything to do a five speed swap(minus clutch). the clutch peddle is already installed. It also came with a soft top boot cover witch looks like crap and has button snaps. Is this a stock cover? Were can i get a hard one? Anyway i really like this car but is kinda crappy i live in Oregon and it rains all the time. Any tips on taking care of the top? i dont have a garage or a car port. The top is in good condition execpt there was a cat on top and i hit it with a stick and it scratched the top. the boot cover that you hate so much is very hard to find. Post it up for sale on the forums here... I bet you'll get $250+ for it.

Thanks for the props everyone. The thing with the top boots is its made of vinyl. All the other ones ive seen look like plastic ive never seen one in person so i could be wrong. Is this what they look like? Sorry to sound stupid, its my first vert, and the previous owner had stuff custom made for it. thanks again
