Fellas:

As you guys know, I have been a vert owner for 10 days now. I am wasting no time.

By the end of the weekend, I will have:

1. Coupe door conversion with coupe door panels. Doors are blue. The car will look ghetto fabulous.2. 5-lug hub/spindle conversion with S14 SE wheels (for now).3. New end links and bushings.4. S13 Silvia VLSD and SPL Parts subframe spacers.5. New headlight and wiper stalks (since mine are sun beat).6. S14 front seatbelt conversion (rear quarter panels).7. Dash cluster where the odometer actually works.

I am pumped.

After this, it's body work and body kit time. Followed shortly thereafter by a complete interior overhaul with custom carpet, seats, door panel and rear quarter inserts, and all of the factory plastic re-textured and dyed. This pig will start looking good here REAL quick.

remember to take some pics through the process.

Let me know how the wiring goes from the door swap.. curious if that's a pain at all?

Sorry guys, no pics, but the deed is done. Coupe doors, VLSD, subframe spacers, S14 wheels (for now) with 5-lug hubs and spindles. Gotta replace the A-arms and tension rods...all are shot. The car needs an alignment desperately. Thank God it doesn't snow/ice much here because it's already dangerous to drive.

I did an S14 seat belt conversion as well. A bit different than the S13 conversion...the part that goes to the b-pillar in the S14 is now at the top of the vert's qquarter tower. It looks nice. Sound damping is udnerway now.

I ordered the full Vertex (real Vertex) kit for it today. Using a 180SX front bumper and Silvia S13 side skirts and rear bumper for the coupe. The Vertex kit is very understated and quite nice. I am keeping the traditional 180SX look with the flip-up headlights. I like them...moreso than the S13 light conversion.

All is well in North Georgia.
