New Versa owner

Hi all

New forum member here, first time nissan owner, will be taking delivery of a new 2012 versa later this week

Don't plan to do any performance modification, as this will be my winter car as well as my Point A - Point B car, I have another summer car I drive maybe 4 times a year given the weather here

Anyways, on non-perf mod, I wanted go HID, as the road to the train station is not lit, that said, I was having a lot of difficulty locating a projector headlight assembly, the links I found on this site (more like 1) seems to be al lout of stock

I tried searching on Rakuten to get JDM Tiida ones, but even then they don't have any stock of a projector assembly that fit the C11 platform (though a lot of other cool stuff)

Anyone has sources for them?

Other things I plan to do are mainly cosmetic, like LED lights replacement all over, rims next year after this winter etc....

what are some mods that people have put in the versa?

I assume since you mentioned C11 platform, that you bought a hatchback?

There are an OEM Bi-Xenon projector headlamp on the JDM Tiida, but they are extremely hard to come by. I had a set on my previous Versa. Others have just done an HID kit for brighter lights. I believe there are bulb kits and headlights replacements for HID.

I don't want to blind people with HID over reflector, thats why I was looking for a projector.. I've seen some kits with a shield over the igniter so that it reduces glare, but I heard people saying that its still not enough

I what about rims? I search around the forum, it appears that everyone are still using 15, has anyone try going 16, 17 or even 18? What tire size would go with these settings?

Also, my research indicates that the car uses 9003/H4 bulb, can someone confirm this?

Most are using a 17" wheels with 205 tires. I had them on mine. My complete build thread is in the New Owners section. That will answer a lot of your questions for possible modifications. I had A LOT on my '09 model.

The mirror covers you listed won't work on the US models. Too many things to change and they aren't the exact shape of the US models.

There is a ton of info for the '07-'12 models hatchbacks on here. You'll have to use the search function and go through some of the older threads from 2010-2011.

The one thing that i don't like is, when the seats are folded, there is a giant "dent" in the back, this may help resolve it, but it cost almost 400 to ship it over from Japan
