Car: Nissan Versa 1.8 SL Hatchback

Post

Hi,

Just came upon this great website. I have a white 2009 Versa 1.8 SL Hatchback purchased in May of 2009. I don't drive that much anymore, so I only have about 3,000 miles on the car. Prior to the Versa I had a 1995 Volkswagen Jetta that I traded in that I drove for almost 14 years. That was a great vehicle. Before the Jetta I owned a Nissan Stanza hatchback that I had for eleven years. That was also a great vehicle. I like to buy a car and keep it for a long time. This time when I decided to buy I looked at the Versa and fell in love with it. I love the way it looks, it's different looking, very roomy, I wanted a car with a driver's seat that adjusted up and down, a great car for my dog and shopping, more features than I even need, great gas mileage. I was very happy with my Nissan Stanza, so I went for the Versa. It seems to me to be a great quality vehicle, the doors are nice and heavy. The only problem I have had is a rattle in the center of the top of the dashboard. Nissan replaced the center piece and said a clip was broken. I still have a problem with the same area with a rattle, not as bad as before, but still there, so I will be contacting the dealer to hopefully fix the problem. Anyone here with any suggestions, I would appreciate them. I hope my Versa brings me years and years of reliability like my Stanza did.

Welcome.

The center dash rattle is a common problem we are still researching. No one-fix for everyone yet.
