Just got a new black '09 Versa 1.6 sedan with the 5-spd, A/C, ABS, and floormats. We wanted to get my wife an inexpensive, reliable, car and since she had an '01 Altima with 92,000 miles and never a trip to the dealer, we decided to go with Nissan again. I have to tell you, WE LOVE THIS CAR!! It's so smooth and quiet I can't hardly believe it! There's more leg room in the back seat than my VW Passat.

So since our car didn't come with a radio, I went to http://www.car-part.com and searched for a 6-CD changer unit. For $125 I got the 6-CD changer radio from an '07 Versa. That's much cheaper than having the dealer add it or buy a car with all the unneccesary package add-ons! Thanks to whomever posted the directions on how to get the dashboard apart.

We absolutely love this car! My wife is not much of a car person, but even she comments on how much she likes it.

Congrats! Glad to hear that your wife loves her Versa. It is a pretty smooth car and it is very quiet. I have had passengers in my car say how smooth it is. And it's also cute to look at Enjoy!

We took the Versa on a trip to Delaware last weekend and it performed flawlessly. And the mileage just keeps us giggling.

On the trip we went to load some CDs in the changer that I bought and it said the mechanism was jammed. So today I took the deck out of the car and took it apart to see what was wrong. It had six CDs in it, all of varying flavors of old school rap. The changer was stuck between two CDs. I removed all of the discs and plugged it back in, reloaded the discs and it worked perfectly. I suspect the car that my 6CD changer came out of was bebopping and scatting along and was involved in a collision while the CD player was on. When the poor little Versa bit the dust, the CD player got jammed and wasn't able to clear itself in it's new incarnation.

I'm really digging this car. It needs a turbo and a folding rear seat. Other than that it's the coolest economy car I've ever owned.

Nice mini review.. TOTALLY feel you on the lack of power and folding rear seat. MPG is funny.... I am use to 12MPG@93oct.... so to fill this, its like a toy.

Nice fix on the 6disk... I would of tossed it.
