OK... so I've started to order the parts for my new audio system I'm going to put in the V. I was looking long and hard at Clipsed sub enclosure, but determined that I just simply can't give up any cargo space for a sub. Then I found something that will probably work for me.

I don't need HUGE amounts of bass, just some to augment what's already there. I found that Kenwood makes a compact sub/amp combo that should fit under the passenger seat of the V.

I have ordered one, and when it gets in I'll see about fitment under the seat. From reviews I've read, it will fit under many car seats, including a "subcompact" (didn't say what model), so this could be a great solution to my dilemma.

i agree those powered sub/amp combps are great for giving the bass you need with out going over board. I ahve the infinity basslink and it is what i expected and way more in terms of what i was looking for. if ur looking for more bass but not rediculous amounts...def go for something like your looking at. for such a small car a single 8-10 inch sub really does the trick.

I'll let ya know how it is, if it's small enough to install.

an 8" Pioneer preimer will have enough room to fit under the seat of a versa. The sub itself is about 2" deep and only requires a max of .4 cu ft to operate. Minimum space is .1 cu ft.

I had a gallon of milk slide under my seat last night. When I got home I as like... where's the milk. I drove back to the store and they gave me a new one and then I found it under my seat when I got back home again. So yeah for a little car there sure is alot of room under the seat.

Well, since I'm selling the old Lego today, I figured I'd go ahead and get the rest of the audio equipment on order.

I'm hoping it all arrives before the weekend so I can get it all installed. I suppose I should also call and make an appointment to get some tint shortly thereafter...

Not sure if I want to mention what I purchased for a head unit. It might make Clipsed twitch and foam at the mouth for not being a big name brand. (But then again, the cheapest Alpine/Pioneer that had all the features I wanted was $1300)

LOL...That's pretty funny. Just be glad you found that gallon when you got back home, and not after 3 or 4 days in a hot car!
