New Van Question

Just bought the quest se, 2006. I have a question about something. There seems to be a pedal control that isn't operating. Is this a common thing with the 2006? Thank you for the time!

please be more specific

are you talking about the very left pedal? parking brake pedal?

push down to engage parking brake

then push again to dis-engage the brake

My apologies, I was talking about the button on the drivers seat. Upon inspection I realized it is a three way rocking type button, and the forward selection doesn't seem to spring back. I popped out the button, and looked at the connection, I think that the button itself is broken. But it should be an easy part to replace.
