New V hit

So I'm taking my son to daycare this morning and we got hit. We were at a stop sign and this guy puts his SUV in reverse and bumps my front bumper. I didn't even have time to hit my horn. I think there was something for sale in the yard and he was looking at it I guess. Anyway, just had my V a week! I don't even have plates yet. Oh well, sucks to be me. But the guy who hit me had a warrant and he went to jail. So it sucks more to be him I guess. Now I just hope his insurance is good.

Oh no ... I'm so sorry to hear that. Dumb driver out on the road, glad to hear he went to jail. Stupid on his part ... if he hadn't hit you he would probably still be free!Hopefully his insurances pays for the damage ... that really sucks

Well the appraiser just called me. They will look at it today or in the morning. As long as it gets fixed I'm cool. No one got hurt so thats the main thing.

Sorry to hear about your car... I hope his insurance fix the damages to your car. On the other hand, I always find it so hilarious when someone is in trouble with the law and gets caught because of something else that they've done... Dumb guy

I know what you mean. I was getting ready to pull out of the day care which is on a four lane road so the guy in the right lane stops to let me out. Well normally I just wave them on because you never know but this time I decide to go. Well BOOM! The lady is coming up in the left lane and we tap bumpers. Well the new versa goes to the shop and comes out with $3800 in damage! I think those things are designed to crumble and break everything in an accident. Incredible.

Well I have the care back now and it seems to be driving fine. You know the bright side? If I would have been driving my other car, a '99 I30, it probably would have been totaled. Best regards!

this is a good opportunity to get sport bumpers! sucks that you got hit... i was almost in a few accidents my first week with the versa...
