I will believe it when I see it. I have 18,000 km my 6 spd versa so far and the BEST I ever got was: 618.6km or 384.38 miles on 48.259 liters or 10.64 Imp Gallons or 12.78 US Gallons, which = 7.81 liters per 100km. which = 36.1 mpg Imperial or 30.07 US mpg.

That's actually possible ! Versa is rated as a 6,1L/100km for highway. As part of my road trip, I drove non-stop from the customs to Atlantic City and I got 6,0 L/100 km which would theoricaly makes (oddly enough) 833,33333 kilometers out of a single, full tank of gas.

Of course, this is one tank out of many, because my average is 7,8L/100km. But by polling the forum, you'll see that a few of us have managed to get 39miles/gallons (which is the equivalent of 833km/50L I believe).

Yep! Saw it over the weekend, which is 833 km ÷ 100 km = 8.33 x 6 L/100 = 49.98 L, that works out to 16.65 km per litre. Versa tank holds 50 litres.

This is per federal government testing methods for all cars. Best numbers with ours CVT equipped so far has been 15 km /L and I doubt we will get a whole lot better than that but we will see later on when the engine is broken in. Probably possible on a highway trip if you have the cruise at 100 km an hour and are alone in the car with no extra weight.

Ditto which is what like 9.5-10 L/100KM? Pure B.S from the 7.5 The window sticker had when I bought it.

i did a non stop 200KM trip down an empty highway, doing 100Km on cruise control, I ended up doing 10L/100KM I was like

Haven't stopped to translate all the crazy metric numbers. But also consider that he commercial could be claiming things for the 1.6L.

Dealers stickers still post the impossible -- er, unlikely targets -- Canada hasn't caught up with the States re: testing.

I usually get about 600 km per tank on the highway [for whatever that's worth] -- haven't figured out mileage for the last trip but don't expect good mileage, as I travelled along with everyone else ont he highways -- is it ever different driving on the interstates with a speed limit of 70-75 mph. Looked down one time and I was going 90 mph [don't tell my wife or son!] and was still being passed like I was standing still [slowed down to a more reasonable speed once I realized what I was doing to the sewing machine they call an engine].

I did hit 6l/100km once -- highway 7 between Peterborough and Ottawa -- think I hit 83 km/hr [=51 mph] once on the trip, a nice steady 80 the rest of the way with everyone else. Other than that no where near. I accept 7-7.5 on the highway [my grumbling has quieted].

Wow, 800 km per tank! Wish that were true.If I only drive on the highway, I can get about 550 kms. Other than that, I get much less than that. Usually I do a mixture of city/highway driving.

I've only had to get gas twice since I bought my car last year, and my odometer is just over 10,000 KMs. I think that's pretty good.

Also, when I got the gas, the clerks at the till were so awestruck with how sexy my Versa was that they gave me the fuel for free. So I haven't spent a dime on gasoline.

Wait, are you kidding, or do you really mean you've only filled up twice in 10,000 km? I would think you meant 1,000 km, but just checking.
