Most of the electronic digital temperature gauges use the same temperature sensor resistance; oil, water, transmission. Water at 180F, oil at 200F, transmission hopefully 176F.
Use one gauge and a 2-3-4-5 postion rotary switch to monitor multiple sensors........you could build an electronic stepper to sequentally change every second or two.
Same with pressure: oil, fuel,..............zero to 100psi
Measuring the diff temp in summer load will scare you.
Measure the ATF as it goes into the cooler [hottest spot], then you will se why you change it every year in hot climates.
What would be great would be a micro computer that stored average temp per running hour of each fluid.
A single digital panel voltmeter could monitor bat/alternator, MAF voltage, TPS, other things.........gotta be careful running unshielded OEM sensor voltages around.......the ecu might pick up noise from the extra leads acting as antenna.
