Man, I gotta tell you....

If you are looking for some basic bolt-ons, this is a great place to start. After putting both the front and rear strut bars on, handling has greatly improved. The car feels much sharper going into corners.

If you want to go ahead and place an order, you can send us paypal to [email protected] Shipping will run $10.

For $69 for F&R, it's a great buy!

Take care!

Okay guys, I only have the S13 rears in stock. The S14's are sold out until we get more, could be 2-3 weeks. FYI, the S14 rear goes above the shelf.

Take care!

meaning that you will have to pull the speaker fabric large piece off permanently. Basicly the bar bolts up where the rear suspension bolts up and runs over the rear speakers. Hopefully you understand what I'm trying to say.

P.S.- If you want to keep the black speaker fabric piece, then you can cut a hole on each side for the mounts to go through.

As stupid as this might sound, I'm interested in buying a set of the STBs, but I've never messed with suspension stuff before on my car, though I've messed with just about everything else. :-) How hard is it to install these things? Just a simple bolt-on (literally)? Does it affect alignment, etc?

Also, how much of a difference does doing just the front do as opposed to doing both the front and back? The back in the S13 hatch could be a pain to get to, as well as interfering with my sub box, but if it's truly worth doing the back too, I'd seriously consider doing that too. Sorry for the stupid questions, heh . . . seriously, I do work on the car myself, hard to believe, huh?

It's very simple, the rear has only 4 screws total to unbolt.

It will not mess up your alignment.

I would suggest doing the front and rear. Considering your car is RWD, I'd make sure you buy both. You will notice the difference in handling instantly. Think of a strut bar as a 1 point roll cage, it's goal is to stiffen the chassis. Hopefully this a good analogy.

It shouldn't mess up your subs, I have a sub box in the rear of my hatch as well.

So it is literally just bolt-on? If so, it's a great deal, something I'll have to do. The physics of it make perfect sense, I just wasn't sure if the back would make much of a difference . . . with my 240 being a hatch, it could probably use some stiffness back there anyway. :-) Thanks for the *REALLY* quick reply!

chris,

your bars look like any other aluminum strut bars that I see on ebay. Can you tell me what make yours better than theirs?

It's not flexible cheap metal like most of the ones on Ebay. We've had several customers buy $10-$20 strut bars and they have become deformed or bent through use.

Why pay for Apexi or Cusco? You could argue this for almost any part out there. You are paying for quality, if you want cheap, feel free to buy on Ebay.

They do look identical... do you have any proof that yours are infact a different bar then these?

So are yours of less quality then that of Apexi or Cusco? If so, how? If not, your making contradictions since your combo is arguably cheap.

how would we prove they are different? Do you want me to buy the ones on Ebay and do some kind of product comparison? I don't understand your expectations.

I'm not here to argue anyone, it seems like all the forums get everybody into is a shout battle. If you don't want to purchase them, you don't have to.

We're talking about $39, not $3900.

hey chris,

we are not trying to diss your product, we are interested but we want to know the difference before we make the purchase.

you say that yours is better than ebay, that I would also, too, like to believe. I know many ebay tie bar will bend... even DC sports tie bar will bend, being made from aluminum, that's probably understandable. So what will possibly make yours better than ebays' ? quality/hardnessof aluminum used. Which is why we ask.

Hope you can assist us to clear our misunderstanding/questions, thanks
