Hi all,

I'm from the UK and on my second S13 now, both ran with CA18DET engines. First was pretty stock and super clean, but it had to go as I couldn't bring myself to take it drifting (Pics below). I then moved onto my current S13 200sx, which I've been using as a drift car to learn in and hopefully gain my UK drift competition licence out of it (video link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtVqsbkuaDk)!

So anyhow, thought I'd register to see how things differ across the pond. Seems like a lot of good information via the site anyhow, so not sure I'll be posting as much I search! But hopefully find some info / builds to take inspiration from :)

My old S13 (I'm sure you'll agree its best left stock! ;) ) :

Nothing too special about my current S13.

-CA18DET Stage 1 (exhaust, air filter, fuel pump, T25G ball bearing turbo, Performance Chip, FMIC, Larger Radiator + Electric Fans)
-Tein Coilover, basic dampers + Cusco front top mount camber plates+ Hard Race Tension Rods, HardRace rear camber arms, rear toe arms.
-Full 5 stud conversion with S14 front lower arms / 4 pot brakes / steering arms & R33 GTST rear disks / 2 pot calipers
-Stripped out, arb, braces polybushed / solid mount bushes
-D1 Spec Performance Gauges + various D1 Spec items (as a main supplier, I demo their products on the car)
-Custom dash doger Roll Cage (to be changed)
-Corbeau Bucket seats / Luke harnesses / Custom Rails
-Nismo Gearknob / Cusco spin turn knob
-Full Aero Kit
-R33 GTR wheels
- A few other things..

(Bumper is being repaired and kouki indicators to replace fronts!)
(Car is also sitting high at the minute due to chewing through wire harness!)

Here's a link to a Youtube video of me drifting my S13 at a local grassroots drift what you bring day. Still ALOT to learn and progress to be made. (If anybody can help me embed the video?? seem to be struggling) :

Welcome to Nico! This site is great, and if you spend as much searching as you would spend posting then you'll find absolutely everything you need. There's so much on this site. I love your first one and I'm glad you left it clean, even if you've sold it. The new one looks well done and perfect for drifting (even if i'm not a fan of the bumper :)). Those door panels look super clean.
No idea how to embed a video, but good luck!

Thank you :)

Yes unfortunately couldn't bring myself to damage it, possibly the next owner could - but at least it wouldn't be me. Becoming a rarer sight here in the UK, especially clean examples. Many of the local ones are either suffering from rust or have ended up in the hands of drifter and then eventually scrapped.

The new one was actually one of the last UK 200sx S13 (Late 1994 registered) but was abandoned a few years ago along with another s13 in a field. Having pictures from that field / other car, I managed to locate the other car and that too has been converted into a track vehicle. My current one was restored over 2-3 years by previous owner (garage owners main project). The vehicle was taken care of from ground up, with any rust removed - fortunately was given a comprehensive picture build of the vehicle, for which I've only added to.

The bumper / kit is ok, I do not really mind as they do get a fair share of damage on track (the rear bumper has fallen off few times). Front bumper has unfortunately sustained damage mostly when the vehicle was a lot lower. One of my least priorities in changing it however, far more concerned in focusing on the driving of it and putting money towards performance oriented mods / maintenance and upkeep. Still have the original bumpers in matching paint to put on if needed!
