new turbo/ups sucks

bought a "new turbo" but it kinda has me thinking it has been used. its a T3/T04E 50 trim (.63/.48 50 trim). UPS SUCKS. i hope the hole in the side of the box isnt from the seller. looks beaten up. i guess I will see if it actually works or not when i install it on my new motor.this is what makes me think its somewhat used. looks like the blades hit the compressor houseing somehow. its scratched up and behind the nut that holds the blades is all ground down. not sure why.

it sux to see that but sometimes the manufacturer reuses compressor housings and if thats not the case,then when the compressor housing was bored out, the housing got scratched.. i would try to return it.

they must have just re-used the housing. there is NO shaft play at all so the blades dont hit the housing. i will just pull it off and clean it up. maybe polish the housing for that bling effect.

it looks like it has been rebuilt the housing has definitly been hit by the impeller blades but not necessarly this impeller, the reason its ground down under the screw is to balance the wheel to the turbine shaft.

either way it should not need so much grinding to balance it so i would kinda worry about it.
