I finally got my turbo setup all put together and in the car, and it started on the first try! After the engine warmed up I took it for a spin around the block to check things out. The only problem is that it's only making about 1 PSI, I'm sure the problem is leaks in the welds of my intercooler piping. Can I use JB Weld to plug them, or is this a silly idea, I had some of the pipes professionally welded, but the welds look like crap. Please tell me if there is a better way to plug these holes.

thanks, TB

JB Weld would work fine if the application area is prepped properly and let dry for 12 hours.

Do a boost leak test before you go crazy with the JB weld. Also, are you sure your wastegate is working correctly?

I know there are a couple leaks, because I could see bubbles in the dunk tank.

as for the gauge, I dont know, it shows about 5 in of vacuun at idle, this seems low to me.

the waste gate is another question, it came with the turbo, could I hook it up to an air compressor to test it.

I will do some testing before I go crazy with anything, it was just 3AM and I had to try it out.
