new turbo from nissan

has any one tried ordering a sr20 turbo from nissan before?

Why would you want to? You can't from any dealerships here seeing as it was never available.

You could probably get an upgraded turbo for the same price Nissan would charge you.

It's a T25, so you can order them from other places.

PS, please don't say your car is going to be a Silvia, because it won't.

S14 turbo from Nissan is about $900.00

Wow. Then there is shipping from there to here. Even though its a small piece it will still be a good amount.

You can get them through a local dealer, but you will have to call Nissan Motorsports for the part number, and have them send it to your local dealer. Or have Nissan Motorspts. talk to your dealer about it. But it *can* be done. But like mad said, $900...which is typical crazy dealer prices.

Then i would just get the s15 turbo from phase2motortrend.com I guess thats the best price for a t28 new.

they are nice turbos, not a 3240 but for $900.00 not bad. I have had one on the wife's car since 98', been running strong at 15lbs ever since.

If Johnny Tran can pick up 3 SR20 engines for "Race Wars" by squirting 40 weight down a guys throat, I think you might be able to get a turbo...

I like beating people with supposedly weak cars sort of insult to injury, I was actually playing with the idea of building a KA here just to end some of those "what would win" threads. She has been letting me drive it while I have been working on all the cars I have to sell and my Silvia will be back on the road as soon as I sell the GTS4 and then it's open season on chumps.

actually it sounds like that Herlihey Boy sketch from Saturday Night Live. I picture Chris farley next to you going "for the love of God let the boy polish your muffler"! It ain't all fun, how frustrating would you find it to drive by $9000.00 GT-Rs on car lots every day but be too broke to buy one?

ha! im in wayne, pa. its about 20 min drive north west from center city phillyif you still dont know. I live near the King of Prussia Mall (second biggest in country) just to give a landmark.
