So yeah, pretty much ive been looking at lift kits for it and they are quite exspensive for these newer trucks.

I used to own a diesel K5 blazer and the kits for that were dirt cheap.

Anyways, lift kit will run me somwere in the 1500 range uless anyone knows of something alot cheaper.

For now im just gonna leave it stock and continue building the white car you see in the background. Once thats fully kitted and caged then ill be ready to pimp-0-fy the titan.

BTW: thanks for the comments, this truck section is pretty dead.

Lifting an old leaf spring rig is uber simple compared to the precision IFS lifts these days, hence the cost differential. Nice truck. Real clean for an '04.

Clean truck man...I love Titans! (especially when lifted ) Cardomain has some pretty sweet ones if you're in need of some inspiration.

What liftkit are you looking at? Just curious what brand you liked.

Congrats! You'll love the Titan.

For me, I got the NCD Customs leveling kit. Haven't put it on yet (I've had the kit sitting in my room for the last 3 months) as I haven't had a convenient time as I'll need to get it aligned right afterwards, but hopefully soon. The NCD leveling spacers are cheap and look to be well made.

WEll ive been looking around and a 6" lift is all I can find. I was really thinking about it and spending that much on a lift is kinda retarded cause Im not gonna be 4wheelin it. Its more of a tow rig then anything.

I was really thinkin bout it at work and im probably just gonna do some 18" wheels with a good offset and a nice wide stance, keep it pretty low and do some performance to make it alittle torquier.

I was thinking of doing the leveling spacer in the front and doing a custom 2" block in the rear. I wouldnt really have to do alot of modification to do the 2" block but it will make the truck have an overall higher stance but not too huge and for very cheap.

Let me know what you guys think.

Doing the 2 - 2 1/2 in the front will just level it so no need for the rear block.

You can get 33's after that but these truck are very particular about rim offsets. The front inner fender, side closest the cab where the pinch weld is, is where everyone rubs.

You can go the other route and just lower the back. Kits are out for that too.

In the 4x4 you can get a 4 from rancho or 6's from ProComp and Fab Tech. You can get stoopid and get a 13 or whatever it is from Bulletproof.

We need to see it regardless of which way you go!

I would lower the titan but theres kinda a problem with that... It gets really snowy here in the winter. Kinda wanted something practical and big to conquer the mountainess terrain and snow.

BTW, Im planning on new wheels within the next couple weeks.

Also planning on boost.

LOL, I can leave stuff alone but the Wify will get SO pissed cause its OURS, not just mine.

Im thinking single turbo with all the fixins, Im gonna get underneath it on my day off and see what I have room for, Ive got an intercooler that I can see about fitting up too.

I just dont know how stronge the vk56 is and weather or not it will like boost. I havnt seen a whole lot about the Supercharger kits but Im thinking if it can handle that then it should be able to handle a turbocharger.

Anyone off the top of their heads know how much boost the supercharger kits put out?

I saw a graph for the new Vortech that was putting down right about 400hp. The Stillen SC should be doing about the same. And I want to say they run about 6-8psi

...just be ready to replace the rearend. It's the VERY weak link.
