I finally made it out to the track today, and man, my car is slow. The main problem right now is getting traction. I'm either spinning out off the line or rolling off the line. When i roll it, i'm not even in boost for a good 3 sec. I'll try to scan it in.

Best official time is 14.07 60ft 2.3 Reaction .8609 mph 105

My best time was a 13.8, but i jumped the light. I was expecting low 13's with 15psi.Anyways, i still need to fine tune the jwt with my safc2 and get an lsd. Hopefully, that will get me deep deep in the 13's. I Beat a STI really bad, side by side with a GTO, and stayed with the new Corvette from start to finish. He was 2 cars ahead of me from launch, but he did'int pull on me at all from start till finish. He ran a 13.6. My old setup with no cams and crappy tires ran consistent 14.2 passes with 10 psi. But trapped at 99. Any advice on why i'm not running faster?

lsd should shave a couple of tenths. some better meat should also help out the spinning prob. if its in your budget check out the drag radials and you could run them on the street as well. btw what set up are you running?

Turn your boost down until it doesn't spin anymore. Once you get that down, incrimentally increase the boost pressure so you can learn to launch at these higher power levels.

And get an LSD and at least some DR's.

Oh yeah, when running street tires, you really need to avoid the waterbox like the plague.

Oh crap, i love the wet box! Well, next time i go, i'll probably have a j30 lsd, and some drags i'm gonna borrow from a buddy. Hopefully, i can get my a/f tuned out for more power too.

holy guacamole...................ur absolutely right. 15 psi on gt32 should put u at some really low 13's with the right tires obviously. what was ur tire pressure at? also ur trap speed is pretty low IMO. i was pulling the same trap speed as u with my str8 t3 at 11 psi....................

I'm not sure how stiff that suspension setup is that you're using, but that is one thing hurting your times. Stock is best for drag.

i cant stress this enough, if you are gonna drag, its pointless to do it with the wrong tires. i killed almost a full second off ets with these tires. plus, they are dot approved radials, so you can drive them to the track. 15psi and the car just hooks up.

My tire pressure was at 20psi. But the tires i have are hard as hell. Anyways, i was trapping at 97 on some of the runs too, but manage 14.2. I'm sure i can trap a lil higher with a good launch. The main differeance between this setup and my old one is that this setup has tons of top end. It just keeps pulling harder the higher gear you go, lol. My t3 died at 100 mph. I;m probably gonna get some drag radials, BTW, what size should i get? I have 16x9 rear wheel, thxs.
