So went to the track with my new manual boost controller as my other one was broken and leaked. last best time was 14.5 @94 with a 2.2 60' time ( 60*F)

new best time despite it being about 90-95* F, was 14.2 @ 97 with a 2.0 60' time. The 2.0 60' is with an OPEN DIFF. with bridgestone potenza g009 195/60-15 tires. full weight interior.

First video is of me vs. a formula lt1 firebird. we both spun pretty bad, him at the start and me into 2nd. I got the jump and kept pulling, even he admitted he couldnt catch me! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QpOPGCIZyU

Second video is of me vs. a brand new mazdaspeed miata with full exhaust and intake. We both ran a good race. I believe I ran a 14.4 on that one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQkHLmSEXyw

lemme know what you guys think and if a LSD would improve my times, cuz the domestic guys say that with a 97 MPH I should be close to 13.7-13.8.

I concure. With that trap speed, high 13's should be possible with a good launch. Hard to acheive with an open diff.

For every 0.1s off your 60' it translates into roughly 0.2s off your ET. So if you got an LSD and some drag radials and could cut some 1.7-1.8 60's, Your 14.4 could be a 13.8-14.0

Those #'s seem like the factory #'s. Suggest a larger turbo, FMIC, and an LSD. There were two SR cars in Indianapolis that ran 11's. One had 330hp, the other 500hp. The 500hp car couldn't hook up. That power hurt his time.Need LSD for racing.

factory numbers? for what? If it was at factory boost with stock smic and p/s and a/c I highly doubt even the best driver could get under 14.7 or so unless they had slicks and the 4.4 lsd diff. not saying my times are good, yes theres room for improvement but when isn't there?

You're better off having a friend in the car holding the camera. I've tried something similar to that with the S13 seats and the video was so shakey it wasn't worth the time and effort.
