mmmmm blitz

today i picked up and installed my new boost controller as you can see its the SBC-Id, and along with it i also got the power meter id, and a blitz turbo timer.

i cant believe how much of a differance a electronic boost controller is over the crappy manual one i had, i dont get boost creep as bad, less spikes, the car is much smoother and feels a hell of alot more powerfull, i can run higher boost levels with out spiking and hitting the fuel cut off, i am very impressed with the unit and the ease of installing and programing it! i got it third hand, but im the first person to ever to install it or use it so everything was still packaged up and all togther ! i got an awsome deal and couldnt pass it up, it was well worth it! after a few more days of set up and testing ill be ready to recomend this to anyone thats getting by with a bleed valve !

my boost is set at 10.5psi, my limiter is set at 11.5psi, im still over boosting but the controller is catching the over boost and keeping it within a good number that way i dont hit fuel cut!

That's real nice man! Glad you're pleased with it. It would be good to see a complete install guide in the FAQ and DIY section.

Hey man do you mind measuring the length of the two together. Do you think they would git like that in the air vents in the center of the dash. Just a thought. Looks kinda like the shape. Debating over putting gauges there or some other toys

Jon - VERY cool.

Someday I need someone to give me a primer (in person) of how all that stuff works. I'm embarassed to say, but I'm a "turbo-tard".:(

I know n/a stuff real well, but when it comes to turbo timers, BOV's, boost controllers, etc - I'm an idiot.

You need to build a cover like I did. My thread is around here somewhere if you didn't see it.

So that is a boost controller and boost gauge? I see now and peak so I assume it is.

I'm about to shell out some cash for a boost gauge and pod and MBC, but this could do all that in one it looks like...

BTW are there any other EBCs that do this also? I always thought they just controlled boost. (ala Greddy Profec)

i had been beggin him to let me try it out in my car since his car isnt near finished, finnally he gave me that deal i jumped on it!
