Sick! Is a paint job on the list? Standing up on those are so difficult but once you get it it's epic!

I'm about to be doing the same thing... getting ready for summertime!

My buddy's family owns a marina and he flips stuff like that all the time, I'm getting a chassis for $50 and we're going to rebuild one of the engines he has in the shop.

The standups are hella fun... it look a few hours out on the river til I was able to stand up and turn without falling down right away, but I'm getting better and its a rush. lol they beat up on you really really hard but well worth it good luck with the project

ya i used to ride them back about 10 years ago with my uncles. paint is coming, motor gets fixed first, then ill be doing a custom black/kawasaki green paint job. i might even toss some sweet monster energy decals on it

lol, so it looks like a s***ty 240? haha ill pass. flat black is for engine bays, so you can see oil leaks, and thats it

Haha, turbo charger! When I entertained buying one, there are plenty of enthusiast forums with people who make some gnarly mods to their PWC in the name of speed.

**update** did some work on the ski today, and got a few better pics. motor is really clean. and these things are bad to work on at all. the guy i bought it from said it sheered some teeth off the starter gear, and i was kinda weary about that. but took it apart and low and behold, thats all thats wrong with it. gear was ordered yesterday, 20 bucks off ebay, and should be here in the next couple of days. woot woot

picture time.heres a day light shot of the ski. it needs paint. white is so boring

needs new hydro turf, but thats no biggie since i would have to pull it out anyways to paint the thing.

cute little motor lol

motor partially disassembled

picture of starter gear munched up its gonna be a pain to remove

lol, im in college. that should explain alot. bikes an 86 honda 650 custom. summer plan is to chop it out, its my roommates. i like the fact that the motor is turned sideways and its shaft drivin instead of chain drivin.

**update** well, damn you nico club and all this talk about SR swappin my jet ski. it is going to end up getting a motor swap. picked up two more ski's today. there both kawasaki js550's. one runs, the other needs some work, but the price was too good to let them pass. picked up one today, ill have to get the other one tomorrow since i can only fit one in my truck at a time. the hull isnt 100% on the new one. so ill prob end up swapping the 550 motor into the 300 hull. the 300 hulls are lighter and this one is in better condition. ok picture time. ill have motor shots tomorrow

picked up the golf cart yesterday too for cheap. its for scootin around campus pickin up b****es. lol

I've always wanted to restore a late 80's/early 90's Kawi standup Jetski. Some day.

Super duper cool. Paint it all glossy white and get rad custom neon color vinyl decals for it, like Waverace 64.
