The window on my car is shot. I have a brand new top and window but haven't had it put on yet. Question...can they just put the new window in the old top without removing the top (the top is fine , not faded, no tears) or does the whole thing have to come off, making it a huge ordeal? Also..what do you'll think a good or fair price just to put the new window in would be?Lorri

Just the window piece (with the little bit of cloth around the vinyl is reffered to as the curtian. This piece comes out and can be replaced on it's own.

I was quoted $150 for labor to have it done, but think I'm going to tackle it myself in the next few weeks.

I just got a price for $150 to put the window in so I made the appointment to have it done. The streets of Central Florida are gonna be a lot safer now ;-)

Care to explain alittle further? I'm sure it's not easy, but what problems did you encounter, what are the hard parts? Theres a few things I'm pretty good at, but if theres something I cant do, I'll bring it somewhere.

thanks
