Hey guys I just wanted to say whats up. Its been a while since Ive been on NICO. some of you might know me as SGT.Coene2 others might not have seen me around. I just bought an 03 daytona blue base. tis sweet. aside from the tic-tac-toe board keyed into the hood by some toolbag its basicly stock I will post pics as soon as i figure out how to use the image button again lol. some plans are seibon TS hood, motordyne 5/16" plenum spacer and AAM Competition 3 in. True Dual Exhaust. thats it until ive got the money for the SFR twins I really want. for wheels Id kill for some factory track modle wheels. Im glad to be part of the Z heritage guys.

Welcome! Can't wait for pics of that tic-tac-toe...

Soldier, are you in Maryland by chance? I know another Z that has a tic-tac-toe board keyed into it. Was likely done either in downtown bmore, arundal mills mall or UMBC.

Welcome back! And from a Sapper to Ranger, thanks for your service. :patriot:

I wouldn't, but then I wouldn't trust a new car with F/I without some prep work on the motor.

Rangers lead the way! I want to build a stage 1 short block from importpartspro.com and other supporting mods for F/I. boost is in my blood so the N/A VQ35 is a bit on the boost shy side of the tracks from where im comming from. but i will be crossing over to the dark side shortly haha. :)

Welcome, I'm kind of a newbie here also. I had FI on a 4 cylinder. I went the Turbonetics "safe" kit. ended up popping #4 and made a huge mess. My new
builder claims that the safe way will wear out the rings and usually the cylinder
walls. When we re-did the engine, instead of just replacing the stock block, we went with a built sleeved block tested to 35 psi boost. Than crank, rods mains, new pistons,
etc. I learned the hard way that half is def not good enough. The engine also had
118k on it. :nono: I'd say you are planning on going the right direction, but with
the VQ35 it takes deeper pockets.
