I have a 1995 200sx se-r (FWD). I want to swap the SR20DE for the DET. What do i need to get for the swap. I would like to switch it to a RWD as well. What do i need to accomplish this and what parts can i keep from the old engine and use on the new one?

switching to rwd isnt a simple swap. but anything is feasable with enough money. I just dont know anyone (other than a major tuning company or someone with deep pockets) who has done a RWD conversion. there is a sticky zerothread/94868 that might help if u havent read it already.

what would it take though. I mean i was thinking that i could change the axles and the transmission and that was it, but i guess it's not that easy.

No. You'd have to cut your firewall, change the entire front and rear suspensions, etc.

Use a FWD DET or go buy yourself a RWD car.
