Recently bought a 1990 na 300zx and it had some work done to it already, the quality of work done is somewhat questionable. Heres a list of things done before i got it:

Veil side (or knockoff) body kit
Eibach sport lowering springs
kyb agx struts
drilled/slotted rotors
im guessing a brake upgrade or diff. calipers at least?
aftermarket exhaust headers
huge muffler tips

It has the notorious lifter tick and I have done the following to attempt to correct it with some minor success:

immediate oil change w/ very little atf fluid
change that oil w/ royal purple 5w30w and 1/2 quart of lucas oil treatment w/ STP oil filter ( K&N were out of stock and not using fram)

Need to replace the drive belts on it they are or one is sqeeking. My goal is to restore or attempt to restore this engine back to good working condition. Whoever had it before obviously didnt know how to care for a car via good maintanance.

Any advice as far as basic restoration of this engine w/ 150k miles on it and no knowledge of how it was driven before? Thanks.

the stock callipers fot the 90 n/a are unique, they use the 26mm pistons, all the rest fo the Z32's use aluminum cappioers that look the same but with alrger pistosn int hem, the 95 and 95 I think got steel 30mm calipers
