I'm just looking to see how much you guys would pay for a '91 2+2 300zx with a twin turbo swap and the following mods:

============

EXTERIOR:WINGS WEST FULL KITJDM WINGLIME GREEN TWIST WITH YELLOW, WHITE, GOLD, AND GREEN PEARL

INTERIOR:SPARCO SEATSINDIGLOW GAUGESBACK SEATS REDONE TO MATCH SPARCOSSTILLEN SHORT THROW SHIFTER

HANDLING:GROUND CONTORL COILOVERS WITH EBIACH SPRINGSKONI SHOCKSFRONT STRUT BARSLOTTED CROSS DRILLED BREMBO ROTORSCAMBER KIT

RIMS AND TIRES:Racing hart multi peice cr19*8.5 in front 19*10 in the backNitto 555 extreme tires245/35/19 front 19/275/30 back

============

I'm looking at getting this Z as a second car provided I can scrape up the funds. The car has a clean carfax, fresh paintjob (in an ugly color mind you), no dings or dents and no known issues. It has a 6 speed transmission (I thought they only made a 5 speed for the Z?) and the tires have 75% of their tread left. The owner says the car puts out about 350+ hp. I haven't asked for dyno sheets yet.

Any opinions/suggestions/things to watch out for or ask about?

Thanks for the help.

Corey

As an aside, I don't believe he's listed all of the mods done to the car as I'm positive he's chipped it. As well, the car has 80k miles on it... I'm unsure of how many miles on the engine/transmission though.

so this guy has swapped out the 5-speed and put in a 6-speed? must be nice. umm, a 2+2 tt? pretty rare, so if you are going to get it, get it fast because somebody else will. this is a complete guess, but i would say in the $20k's.

I asked again to confirm it was a 6 speed and he said yes. It's his personnal car and he's done all the mods to it, so I'm assuming he knows what he's talking about.

Your guesstimate makes me feel MUCH better. Muchos gracias man.

Have you checked out the car in person?

If the motor swap is clean and the cars drives well then it sounds like a good car to have. I personally like the look of the 2+2 body more due to it being a bit longer than the 2 seat version.

Didn't they make the TT 2+2 in Japan?

Let us know how it works out and some photos would be great!;)

in the u.k., all 2+2's were tt, and some 2+2's were tt in japan.

Now how the f**k would you put Stillen headers on a 2+2 TT swap? Hello...can you say Pentroof Manifolds?

The guy is probably full of sh1t, I have heard of NO one ever doing a 6 spd transmission swap since the cost of that would actually cost more than the car.

Also, a good TT swap on a 2+2 is not the easiest thing to accomplish, theres a whole encylopedia of parts that needs to be installed on the NA chassis.

You can find the whole list on twinturbo.net.

Sounds a little cheezy .. Missing some parts to have 350 hp and claiming some parts not on a TT. With a 6 spd trans he couldn't miss the mistake on the ntake.. Dupree and Penbrook are the only two that I know of that have custom exhaust for a TT..
