i just bought a 91 240sx se coupe three days ago. it was gutted out, with a ka24de and some wierd muffler (looks like a magnaflow or summin similar) it had 189k miles strong and is pretty dependable so far. tons of nasty metal to metal contact tho i assume its just ball joints in the front end that need grease. I have no idea why they call a silvia a silvia and why s13 s14 and s15 are called what they are either, i was just wondering if someone could help me into this new world of nissan i have begun.

Well, I don't think Nissan owners are cranky, I think the folks who've been around longer tend to be crankier since it always seems to be the same old questions that get asked by noobs when they could have found the answer ala searching.

s13, s14, s15 are the cahasis code. s13 89-93, s14 95-98 s15, 99-02(japan only) and silvia because theres no 240sx in japan, there called either silvia or 180sx for the s13 fastback there..buying that 240was proabably one of the best decisions youre ever gonna make...Good Luck!!
