New to the Spec-V so i got a few nubie questions

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

I am going to be down sized from my Z71 truck to a car. i have always liked the Spec-v's and have been doing some research but the biggest "Bump" i have run into is some lingo. Can anyone fill me in on what is a B13/B14/B15 ect ect ect. whats the diff. how can i tell what spec-v is what "B-class". Is this trans and gear ratio with different spec-v's? Maybe piston size?

b16 is the current body style for the sentras, 2007 up. so B# refers to the body style

the b15 sentra 02-06 Spec V 6 speed vlsd standardall the b15 are pretty much the same175 hp/ 180 tq 6200 redline

b16 spec V 07 + 6 speed vlsd optionheavier than previous sentra, redesigned motor with 7 grand redline 200 hp 180 tq?

The New Sentra IS NOT a B16!!! A B16 is a Versa! The new Sentra based on Renault C chassis.

Well it just seem that the creator of this site don't know sh1t about the real code chassis of the car.

So.... a 2007+ sentra is not a b16!

Brembo had a brake option on B15 Spec's. Some cars have it, some cars don't.

D3stro - No need to freak out. I used to make that correction too. However, people are used to the B16 designation because it makes sense chronologically, so for simplicity's sake we use that moniker and own that domain name.

I'd also be willing to bet that Greg knows plenty about the real chassis code of the car.
