Hi my names cody. I have a 95 Nissan 240SX that I've been building for about a year now. Hopefully ill get sum pics of it up as soon as i figure out how lol. Ill probably be asking alot of questions cause its my first build. Took it out a couple days ago runs strong but i have a coolant leak on the intake side that looks like its coming from the headgasket. Any ideas as too where else it would be coming from? Oh and it has the S13 SR20DET. Thanks for any input .

Also how do u post pics? I feel kinda dumb lol.

I can't really help you with the coolant issue.

Get a photobucket account or equivalent. Then copy the IMG code to your post. Or open the full editor and copy the image's URL and paste it between img tags.

Here are some pics. The silver 240 was wrecked. A tie rod snapped on me at about 55 or so. Went through a ditch and into a field. needless too say the body wasnt salvageable. But i got lucky with the engine, i had only damaged the oil pan. the black one is the new shell. I've put alot of work into it so dont be too critical its my first swap .

Welcome to Nico! That coolant leak does sound sketchy. I don't think it'd be coming from the headgasket. Maybe thermostat or water pump? Check the hose going to the thermostat.

alright..I'm taking apart the intake side today to hunt down the problem.Hopefully ill find it.

Think i found the problem. I'm gonna replace the freeze plug when i get paid. looked like the leak was coming from there(its always good to have a second set of eyes lol). thanx for the advice

oh dang. that's not good that the freeze plug leaks, I've not had that happen to me yet.
