Hey everyone just about to begin my first SR swap into a 1991 s13 hatchback, ive heard of the cooling issues with the motor and would like too know which option would be best..

The koyo radiator route or going with a little cheaper JVT aluminum radiator

I am on a budget and fifty dollars here or there will make a difference but first priority is allowing my car to reach its potential.

What do you think?

If you're on a budget, don't worry about the rad. People exagerrate the cooling ineffeciencies of this motor. Unless you're constantly hitting high rpms in mexico, and you want to save some cash, use your stock radiator.

Scene...what scene? Just do the swap and if you have issues then get a new water pump, thermostat and/or radiator w/ fans.

SR's overheat when they arent bled properly and when they are running hard for longer periods of time. If your engine begins to overheat during regular driving, or in winter then you have other issues to resolve.

They should never overheat during daily driving.
