ok so fri I put some rad dye in the system so I could find the leak. So sat I pulled the spark plugs out to switch them out with some low temp ngk's and cylinder 4 and 5 had a crusted green dye on them so I take it its a head gasket. I was gonna buy another cometic gasket kit for it but ive been doing some reading and I guess the oem gasket kit is fine for me only running 12 psi. So I ordered the stock gasket kit. It will be done hopefully by next weekend.

Should I be putting anything else in the car while I do this? I got head gasket kit, timing belt kit, water pump, and misc seals. anything else?

Also all the gauges in the car are autometer boost, oil pressure, water temp, air fuel.

water pump is already suspect, check that while its all apart and even then its a good idea to toss on a new timing belt kit while its apart.if it has a cometic hg on it, it is no suprise it leaks...

I already have a water pump head gasket kit and timing belt kit that will be put in. Is there any thing else that I should put in while its apart?

Every thing I ordered is oem nissan so it should be good. I'm hoping too with the stock head gasket it will bring the compression back up a little. that cometic gasket is thick. I might have some power between 2000 and 4000 rpm

exactly with the cometic gasket it had to lower the compression so with the stock one it might pep it up a little.
