Car: My car all the way

Post

I just bought a 1995 240SX. Don't know a whole lot about these car's but I love the styling and there is so much you can do with import cars as far as parts being interchangeable. I recently sold my 1996 Cavalier Convertible, which was a great car. American's can still make good cars when they want. And if you want to knoce it my best run (in a convertible mind you) was 13.8 @102. Well anyways here are some pics of my new 240.

I did buy this car with an already built motor, and while it is not the SR20 motor it still can pull off a 12 second run here and there and I still have a lot instore for the motor and body of this car, so I did not already buy a completely modded car, there would be no fun in that. Here are the motor mods:

-CP Forged Pistons (10.5:1 Compression)-Crower Forged Connecting Rods-Total Seal Gapless rings-Professionally ported Cylinder Head-Injen Cold Air Intake-Hotshot header-Greddy Power Extreme Cat-Back Exhaust-B&M Short Shifter -SPEC stage3 racing clutch -Griffin aluminum radiator w/12" electric fan-Extended wheel studs-Walbro 190lph in-tank fuel pump

I did pay too much for this car, i think, but the motor was built for nitrous and I have a Direct Port system that was on my Cavalier that I will be installing along with an Ignition and I would love to get some bigger injectors, anyone know where I can find them at?

Thanks and I hope that I can lear a lot from this site.

Never said it was N/A. "I have a Direct Port system that was on my Cavalier that I will be installing" The 12.9 was ran on a 100 shot direct port, the previous owner sold the nitrous before selling the car, it just so happend to be I have a direct port kit at my house off of my old car, and I will be running the same shot on the track. Hopefully get a few more upgrades done and up it to a 150 shot, see if I can break mid 12's. Well see, I still have a lot to learn about the 240 and KA24. Eventually i want to go turbo, but that wont be for a while cause the pistons and compression will need changed before that. Sorry if I didn't clarify. So do yall like it or no? I think it's clean as crap for a 95.

Price tag was "too much" lol, but I knwo the car was built right and well, it has been a dream car of mine for a while, thanks for the kind words. I figure I'll keep the motor cause most people go with the Sr20 motor and a better Turbo motor, so hopefully I can be somewhat unique staying with the KA24 and no Turbo. Just some thoughts.

NightFall_240SX - Thanks, I know that though, I had a very high tuned Cavalier. Been into the tuner world for a while now, BUT I still have much to learn and I am hope this site will teach me what jbody.org taught me about Cavaliers.

Once again thanks for the kind words.

I have no idae, I didn't build the car, which is sad, I know but still, I thought those KA24 Motors wern't strong at all. What do you think it would run n/a? Withought the 100 shot?
