hey guys, my vw was up for sale for not even a week. and im searching around on the vw forum, ( vwvortex) and i notice this kid is trying to get rid of his nissan and now im trading for it because i want rwd :]

but anyway lets cut to the chase, where do i find cheap coilovers that will hold up good, and any aftermarket parts that are cheaper then usual. i need to get a couple things. wheels, coilovers, etcetc.

tell me what you think about the car, this cars engine was rebuilt 30k ago, and its 5spd,needs new struts.

thanks guys, if any advice or secrets you guys got for me.. in maintaining this car and working on it. feel free to let me know..

thanks guys.

Try eBay you may get lucky finding a set of quality coilovers for cheap. If your on a budget then Megan Racing coilovers are great. If your on an extreme budget and must get coilovers, get godspeed. But be warned. there good for DD but I wouldnt want to push that with the godspeeds. If you dont mind doing some extra work to save you a he11 of a lot of $$ then get KONI yellows/eibach or GC springs. Even the KYB AGX.

If your on a hardcore budget then i deff recommend the koni package or even a used set of quality coilovers

Suspension isnt really the place you want to be cheap with though.

Good luck

I wouldn't recommend eBay. As with anything you get what you pay for. I agree with 240EsEx Megan are very good for the money. I had a set on my convertible.
