Looks like it's DIY. Order the vinyl from them and follow the basic instructions: http://destronsgarage.com/instructionsfrapjap wrote:How does this work? Would the customer send you the core and your company would return the piece wrapped?
You should know...you've seen it up close and personalDJBeasy wrote:Darryl B, eh? And some of the work on a red Altima Coupe? Looks familiar...
Thanks! Most of the work however was done by our customers and some of the work was their first attempt.PapaSmurf2k3 wrote:That is by far the best carbon wrap job I have ever seen.
Welcome to NICO!
We actually encourage all customers to try it themselves as the carbon wrap is very easy to work with. We do custom work here and there, but the fun is actually doing it yourself and also saving lots of money.frapjap wrote:How does this work? Welcome to NICO Alan!!!
No there is no need to use a heat gun on the fabric as it is very stretchy. Best of all it has the feel of leather after it is applied. Thanks for the compliment!PHENOMenalVinyl wrote:Nice work now this isn't vinyl as I see but is the fabric sticky? For door panels and interiors that don't have the finish for vinyl this is great!! See when I do Carbon Wraps I am able to remove them from the stock parts with no wear or permanent glue aka vinyl. I love this idea for such things as the Evo 10 I just worked on or even Darryl's upper door panel. Is heating necessary when installing over high contour areas?
HAHA as much as I would love to I don't think the company would allow it. If anything you can send me some snap shots of your rider to [email protected] and maybe we can do a partial sponsorship. We would love for you to showcase the fabric here on the site!95zenki man wrote:Hey my names Alan!
Can i haz some free wrap for my z?
Come on man we got the same name we gotta look out for eachother!
Actually that sounds pretty good, please contact me at [email protected] so we can go over how many yards you will need and also the sponsorship percentage.A33 wrote:Are you offering any discounts? Would you be willing to offer one if I snapped pics of a full install and wrote a how-to article for here?
I'm interested in covering all of the wood trim in my I30 and possibly the center stack as well.
Thanks! I see you sig of proud parent of a paratrooper. Gotta commend your son on it. I was in the Marines for 4 years and I know how military life and commitments can be.AZhitman wrote:Great stuff.
