Well I just bought the car today and will pick it up tomorrow. but few Qs.... First its a 06 M45s fully load all the options....

1. I was wondering how to add the OEM rear screen is it hard or easy or Impossible?
2. Engine Mods available?
3. best way to drop it.. coils, springs? which you prefer? etc
4. best rear window spoiler
5. best place to get aero kit might put the 08 sport bumper and grill.
6. best window visors. (love the OEM ones but screw $300)
7. can anyone do emblem delete on grill?

Thanks
Tyson

If it doesnt have the rear screen I dont think it has "all the options".

Even though it is easier to acquire nuclear launch codes, use the search. You'll find everything you need after about 3 hours.......

Welcome to NICO! :wavey:

1. I've never heard of anyone installing/adding the overhead screen on an M35/M45 that doesn't already have the package. You'd have to rip apart the headliner and purchase the actual screen, remote controls, headphones, and the wood-styled control panel in the rear arm rests (which might require you to purchase an entire new rear bench assembly). I'd think going aftermarket would be the best route and most cost effective for that modification.

2. A few engine modifications are available, but not many. Far less than what's available for your old G35 that's for sure. Check out Jason Burtman's Burtman Industries website for a listing of most of the modifications for the Infiniti M45. He's a great vendor and can hook you up with basically anything aftermarket-related if you shoot him an e-mail. His prices are fair but you might be able to find better prices on eBay or elsewhere. Sentientbydesign on NICO also sells a grounding kit for the Infiniti M45, here is a link to the thread.

3. If you're looking for a severe drop then Eibach Springs are the way to go. Coilovers and bags are the next step if you're really going for stance. Otherwise if you simply want a tiny change from stock then go with Tein or Espelir. Again check out Burtman's website for a listing of all the available springs.

4. The best rear window spoilers available for the Infiniti M45 is either the Sarona spoiler or the Impul spoiler. Sarona is cheaper because it doesn't need to be shipped from Japan. If you want the cheapest one, check out eBay. They have rear window spoilers going for as low as $80, but the design is a bit cheaper looking. They don't look bad though.

5. Aero kit is no longer available from Infiniti directly. You can purchase an aftermarket produced one from Sarona, they don't have a bad price but I haven't heard any reviews of their aero kit products yet.

6. Window visors? Are you talking about exterior ones that go alongside the windows? I'm a bit confused because there aren't any OEM ones from Infiniti. There are two manufactures for the exterior window visors for our Infiniti M45 - AutoVentshade and WeatherTech. Both are good options. :bigthumb:

7. Can't do an emblem removal on the grille unless you want a huge hole stuck in the middle of it just like on your G35. If you have to get rid of it then the next best option is to purchase the aftermarket c-mod mesh grille which does not have an emblem.

The rear power shade comes with the Premium Package on the Infiniti M35/M45.

Those grilles look nice. If you get it started be sure to share the information with us! :)

Easy, just pop open the hood and remove all of the five bolts underneath the chrome trim. It'll pull right up after.

Infiniti has a tendancy to offer different packages in different years. I have the 08 M45 Sport FULLY loaded with the rear dvd/tv screen, Adv. tech, however no rear seat massagers or rear sunshade (exclusive for the premium and NOT available on the sport model). Unless it maybe was specially ordered from the infiniti. :gotme

I'm a bit late to this party, but according to automotive.com, the 06 sport model did have the option of the rear screen. It didn't the option of the rear premium package, which is how you get the screen in the luxury model, but it did have the option of the rear screen (automotive.com even has the option codes, so I assume it is correct, although it steered me wrong, I probably would've gotten an 05 E320 CDI instead of my 06 M45 if I had seen what I wanted on that site). That said, I assume you have the DVD player in the center console already, correct? If so, hopefully knowing that the rear screen was an option in the sport model makes its install easier. If not, be warned that I believe there are other posts on this site indicating that there are wires missing from the harnesses if that option isn't included from the factory (not going to link to one, but search to find out as I could be wrong [could be about XM or something]). As for the rear screen, good luck since I haven't seen any posts indicating what is/isn't missing. Note that with the rear screen installed, rear passengers can see the same thing as the front screen or watch a movie instead, but they have control of the front using the remote in some cases. Also note that the center armrest controls are probably a luxury with premium package only option, and not part of the rear entertainment package (it has controls for the rear sunshade, hvac, heated & reclining seats, etc, none of which have to do with the rear screen if I recall correctly). Incidentally, the rear sunshade can be controlled from the front, so you don't need the controls in the back even if you can install it (good thing, because there may not be room for that armrest, and I say this because the rear heated/reclining seats aren't an option due to the rear active steer and I don't know if they are a different shape/size for the armrest with controls). Of course, the rear sunshade may not have wires in the harness either if it really wasn't an option for the sport models (I thought it came with the rear screen when the rear screen came factory). Additionally, while you don't mention plans to install it, the rear HVAC controls actually adjust BOTH front temperatures (even when in dual mode, both go up or down one degree at a time each time the rear is changed, the rear matches the passenger, but the driver is affected for no good reason). You might really be happier with something aftermarket for the rear screens, and there is a post here somewhere about tapping into the center console DVD stream with something aftermarket.

You can get the rear dvd player in the sport model, you just have to pay for it extra at the dealer like a lot of other ammenaties, Its in my M45s. No one has done the mt fuji delete mod on a M so if you do it you will be the first. Eric its pretty easy, some people use 2 popsicle sticks and blend them into the grille, sand, paint, done. Only engine mod you can get in the US at least is Uprev and CAI. There arent any bolt on's except nitrous lol everything else will have to be custom. Ohh yeah someone installed their own rear sun shade and its on the forum somewhere. I would rather buy some tint.

I have a 2011 M37X, and can't find any parts for my car at this time. I'm looking for a lowering kit for the AWD, a rear window roof visor and seamless vent visors that fit my car. I keep hearing the model is too new. Does anyone have any answers for me. Would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
