Hello,

Just picked up a 96 I30 on the cheap. In pretty decent shape but there are a few things that I would like to address on the interior and exterior. Plus long term it is good to know about which mechanical parts will swap from the Maxima so that I can same some money on these parts.

Anyway, what if any of the interior parts will interchange between the I30's and the Maxima of this era? Same goes for any body parts and mechanical parts.

I know the motor and trans are the same and also the breaks and suspension I believe. But I am hoping that you could help me fill in some of the huge gaps for a newbie.

Thanks and looking forward to getting to know the car and this forum,

Vic

Welcome to NICO.

Pretty much all the mechanical bits can be interchanged. The only body panels that are the same are the doors. As for interior, some things will bolt right up, and some things may need a little modification.

Thanks for the reply Scott.

How about the front door panels? Do you know if they will transplant without any problems?

Thanks,

Vic

Since the doors are the same, I would assume that the interior door panels would fit. I'm just not sure if the contours around where the dash meets the door will line up properly.
