They are completely different rides.
The TL is a smoother ride and with the 6-speed it can be very fun to drive. I really like the interior of the TL and the Navi is awesome. The TL has more space (obviously). The only thing I don't like about the TL is with the FWD there is a little torque steer when accelerating hard on turns. Its not too bad, but its definetely there. The sound system is pretty good, and I love the DVD-A, but the only music I've heard with DVD-A is the sample CD that came with the car. Not taking the DVD-A in account I think the infiniti's BOSE system is slightly better.
The G35 is definetely more fun to drive, has a meaner sounding engine, handles better, and no torque steer. I like the electronic tilt and telescoping steering wheel (the same I had on my Maxima). the Acura's steering wheel adjustments is all manual. The rims on the G35 look sweet though I have always liked Nissan's factory rims on the Maxima and G's. With the 19 inch tires, I feel pretty much every bump in the road, but it doesn't bother me too much since thats expected. My complaints about the G is that the doors feel a little cheap when opening and closing them, and I think the interior could have been done a little better. But wasn't enough of a detterent not to get the car.
The G35 has Sirrius and the TL has XM, I perfer XM over Sirrius. It was just too much hassle getting Sirrius set up, I was supposed to get 3 months free (like with XM), but Sirrius makes you sign up on a plan, before you can get the 3 months. I did month-to-month and I was charged in advance for the 4th month. When XM was set up in the TL, it was hassle free, I didn't even have to talk to the XM people until my 3 months expired. I don't even know if I'll continue my Sirrius subscription after the 3 month period expires.
Another thing about the G35 I like is that the CD player can recognize MP3's which the TL can't. All I have to do is pop my MP3 CD in the radio and it plays them, no need to burn them as audio files in order to hear them
