Hey everyone im new to the forums and the proud owner of a 92 240 with a soon to be 95 engine and transmission. If anyone would be able to tell me the name and URL of some places that sell aftermarket stuff for the 240(seats, suspension, front end conversion, sr20det, and anything else) Id appreciate it and look forward to talking to everyone about such a good car.

all the ones repo put down are probably the best you will get for 240's, cept for afterdark, which is mentioned above. welcome to the boards!

what's up .....i just got into a car accident ( someone rear ended me) cars a total loss. i always loved the silvia and now i'm thinking about buying a 95 and up 240sx......but i was wondering if i swap out the engine for a sr20det motor, is it possible to have it pass smog? any info will be appreciated.....

Damn, sorry to hear about your car. But welcome to NICO! I hope you can get a 240. They're great cars.

An SR20DET, properly tuned, shouldn't have a problem passing smog. A visual inspection is another story if the inspector has any idea what he's looking at. Fire up the "Search" button in the upper right corner of the page as I believe we've covered this in greater detail.
