Hey everyone, got my '08 3.5 6spd with 50k miles on it a few months ago for $13,500. Managed to get a 5-year, 100,000 mile "bumper to bumper" warranty on top of the deal, but have a lot of questions about which modifications my warranty will support. Obviously I would check with my dealership and get approval beforehand before doing anything, just to be safe, but am wondering what to stay away from and what is ok. The dealership was very nonchalant about it when I asked them what I could do to the car, saying that it would be fine as long as it was "nothing too crazy." But now I have almost no idea what that means. Obviously exterior mods would be fine (such as plastidipped rims, spoiler, etc) but where is the line drawn under the hood? Anyone have an idea as to who I should ask?

Anyways, I am having a lot of fun with the car. I definitely won't be able to do some of the crazy mods that many of the members here have due to me starting college in one week and money already being tight after my purchase. But I am looking forward to making some minor additions in the future for my own viewing pleasure such as yellow tint on the fogs, possibly an understated spoiler, and powdercoating the rims.

One final question: which exhaust to go with in the future? People here seem to be saying that the borla axleback has the meanest sound. Are they referring to this one?

Thanks!

Any bolt on equipment won't void warranty as long as you swap out the parts everytime you're going in for a major service. Axleback exhaust and intakes wouldn't hurt.
